Rasputin was born in a very poor village in Siberia Russia. He was know as The Mad Monk because he first became a monk and later he became an advisor to the royal Romanov family. As a healer he was put in charge of Alexei Romanov who had hemophilia. The Romanov family was the very last of the Tzars of Russia.
